Citroën C3 II Facelift (2013-2016)
2013 Update
By 2013, economic conditions had stabilized and new environmental regulations were approaching, making an update not only desirable but necessary. The refreshed C3 was therefore developed with stricter emissions requirements in mind, while also aiming to enhance its visual appeal and everyday usability.Visual Changes
The most noticeable changes appeared at the front of the car. Redesigned bumpers incorporated LED daytime running lights positioned lower in the fascia, giving the vehicle a more modern and recognizable light signature. The grille layout was revised to improve airflow, combining a slimmer upper section with a wider lower intake that added character to the front end. At the rear, the taillights were redesigned and visually sharpened with chrome detailing, while new reflectors integrated into the bumper improved both style and visibility.Interior and Technology
Inside the cabin, the overall layout remained familiar, but selected materials were upgraded to improve perceived quality. Although the interior architecture was largely unchanged, new technology options were introduced. Buyers could now choose an updated infotainment system offering broader connectivity, including USB, Bluetooth, and auxiliary input support, bringing the C3 closer to contemporary expectations.Mechanical Updates
Mechanical updates were equally important. Petrol engines were revised to deliver improved output and efficiency, even in entry-level versions. Diesel variants received further technical modifications to meet upcoming Euro 6 emissions standards, ensuring lower environmental impact without sacrificing drivability.Presented to the public in early 2013, the facelifted C3 represented a thoughtful evolution rather than a radical redesign. With its refreshed styling, cleaner engines, and improved equipment, it strengthened its position in the small-car segment and extended the model's relevance in an increasingly competitive market.
Warning
Never use a higher amperage fuse!
Tip
Spare fuses are often in the box cover.
